On the 14th of August 2018, the Morandi Bridge collapsed in Genoa, causing the deaths of 43 people as well as the evacuation of hundreds. The following day, TwentyTwenty conceived of an idea on how to overcome the pain of that tragedy, through art and beauty.

This is the story of the “Pintada by Urban Attack” project created by TwentyTwenty for the district of Genoa, Rotary Club Genova, and completed in the summer of 2021 with the support of donor companies such as, Grendi Group, Banchero Costa Network, ETT, Gruppo ReLIfe, Biscottificio Grondona, Gecar Citroen, and the contribution of the technical sponsors Tassani Colori, Loxam Aerial Platforms, and Albergo Gelsomino.

Today, thanks to TwentyTwenty and the artistic curatorship of Giulia Lavinia Lupo, you can admire the works of world-famous street artists: the Franco-Iberian Dourone, the Spanish Okuda San Miguel and the Brazilian L7matrix.

They are located in the radura della memoria “clearing of memory” created under the new San Giorgio Bridge designed by Renzo Piano, and on the facades of two buildings in via Certosa and in via Garello, an obligatory stop on the discovery tour of the walls of Genoa, which has just entered in the international Street Art Cities circuit.
